Larry's second in a three part series. These are probably some of the best how to series I've ever seen. Lots of information but still keeps the video moving smoothly along with out undue footage perfectly edited I'd say. Watching this I'd compare it to an apprenticeship program. Everything broken down in simple steps and he shows various framing methods for different applications.
Great instructional video. I was expecting to watch a demonstration wall or two getting framed but they fully frame an entire house! Larry Haun does a great job of explaining everything and makes this daunting endeavor seem really simple. Highly recommend!
Great video. Larry shows you simple techniques with basic tools to get the job done. Framing walls in just one of the three videos in this series. I watch a bunch of how to videos and I think this series is the best I've ever seen on framing.
Good Video... Its dates but the information is very relevant. Larry is very skilled in his trade and it shows. If you need to know how to do this stuff, check this out.
However, keep in mind you can buy this video for only a bit more from Taunton. I would suggest buying this one.

This was an amazing DVD to watch, demonstrating amazing carpentry skills. I would highly recommend it.
The dvd is excellent! I only wish that I could be there with them to watch them do everything in person. If I were an apprentice I would want them to teach me! They show you all the little things that separate the pros from the amateurs. They also show time saving techniques that most people would normally not pay attention to. They can even nail by hand just as fast as you could nail with a gun! With all the info you get in the dvd they also tell you what the code requirements are. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking to get into the trade.
These guys really know their stuff. I'm going to be building a garage starting this week, so it's information that will come in handy. They use scale models to emphasize certain aspects of the work, and it's presented with humor and at a lively pace. Recommended.
I’m a professional contractor and thought that I would see if I could pick up some new tricks. After viewing this video I learned a few new ways of doing business that I’ll try on my next framing job. He covers the basics and I think that with this video a handy person could frame a garage or small house. I definitely recommend this video.
Although I did learn most of what I needed. It bothered me that the author kept suggesting to refer to his book for more detail instead of explaining in the video. Other than that, I picked up several very good tips to enhance production.
